Brick Slip Transformation in Wembley

This recently completed project in Wembley, North London, demonstrates how external wall insulation can be combined with high-quality façade finishes to improve a property's thermal performance while completely transforming its appearance.
The project brought together 50mm Kingspan K5 Kooltherm insulation, EWI Pro silicone render and Elabrick brick slips, creating a renewed exterior that combines modern performance with a traditional aesthetic.
The Challenge
The aim was to improve the thermal performance of the property while giving the exterior a completely refreshed appearance.
The solution needed to provide effective insulation without creating an unnecessarily bulky external build-up, while also allowing different finishes to be incorporated across the façade.
The Solution
Rendering Trivia delivered a complete external façade upgrade using a combination of specialist systems and finishes:
- 50mm Kingspan K5 Kooltherm insulation to improve the thermal performance of the property while maintaining a relatively slim external build-up.
- EWI Pro silicone render in Copenhagen to selected areas, providing a durable, weather-resistant and low-maintenance finish.
- Elabrick brick slips to introduce a traditional brick appearance while integrating seamlessly with the external wall insulation system.
- Careful preparation and installation throughout to ensure the different finishes worked together as one cohesive façade.
The Result
The completed project has given the property a completely renewed exterior, combining improved thermal performance with a distinctive and durable finish.
Most impressively, the complete façade transformation was delivered within just 10 days, from preparation and insulation through to the final render and brick slip finishes.
The completed system is also supported by a 10-year manufacturer warranty, providing additional long-term assurance.
